Online Training
Confined Space Awareness for Construction
This course converts the BEK Safety Confined Space Awareness source blueprint into a full build-ready online course. It follows OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart AA at an awareness level and introduces confined space recognition, permit-required confined space indicators, atmospheric hazards, engulfment, configuration hazards, mechanical and energy hazards, atmospheric testing, ventilation, entry permits, isolation, PPE, communication, entrant/attendant/supervisor responsibilities, emergency response, rescue limitations, stop-work conditions, and final review. The training is written in BEK Safety’s conversational audio style so Joe can build scenes directly in the website admin. Important limitation: This is awareness-level training. Completion alone should not be represented as authorization to enter, supervise, test, ventilate, or perform rescue unless Bek Safety adds employer/site-specific qualification requirements and SME approval. SME review notes: Verify OSHA references; permit forms; rescue procedures; atmospheric testing equipment and calibration practices; company-specific acceptable entry conditions; site-specific confined space inventory; emergency contacts; who may authorize entry; PPE and respiratory protection decisions; lockout/isolation procedures; and whether alternate procedures or reclassification will be taught in this course.
